electronic whistle
You don't even have to blow the HP-388 electronic pocket/keychain whistle...just push a button. Emits a loud 120db whistle for as long as you push the button. Useful in sporting events, a locator in emergencies (earthquakes, collapsed buildings), referee whistle, traffic whistle for police, military training, dog handling and as a safety alarm for crime prevention. 4 inches long. Metal construction. Uses 4 LR44 batteries (included).

Noise is any criminals worst nightmare, especially when it is loud and piercing. People tend to get confused when startled by very loud piercing noise, and the first animal instinct is to run for cover giving you time to run and/or call for help. This is especially true to people who are committing a crime or are intending to commit a crime. That is why alarms are very effective deterrents. What makes this personal alarm all the more better is the ruggedness and the power in its sound. 120db of screeching noise! Great safety companion for almost everyone. This is "a must-have!".

Personal Alarm
A Personal alarm is an electronic devices that emits an extremely loud siren-like sound. You can activate it when you are attacked by an assailant or when an attack seems imminent. The personal alarm is intended to act as a strong deterrent. Many attackers will flee or let you go if a personal alarm is activated. They hate attention for obvious reasons, and the last thing they want is draw it on themselves.
Remember that a personal alarm is intended to distract and scare away an attacker in such a way that it enables you to run for help. So you activate the personal alarm when attacked or in danger of being attacked.

Great Whistle January 16, 2013
Reviewer: SANDRA from Aubrey, TX United States
I purchased this for my mother-in-law to use if she were to fall in her suite of rooms; she has a permanent Trach, and cannot yell loudly, or blow a whistle.  We are considerably far away at the opposite end of the house, and I can now sleep at night without jumping up at every noise.
