Do I have to pay Duty when item arrives in my country?
  The honest answer is 'We dont know'. However from experience, we have had cases
where customer have been surprised when their customs asked them to pay duty on
their shipment. This is something that is YOUR responsibility to know your
countries import taxes. There are too many countries around the world for us to
determine that for you. So please be aware that there is a possibility that you
may have to pay duty on your order items.
My card was charged but order did not go through!
 

This is something some international customers tell us, that their orders were declined but they noticed that their credit cards were 'charged'. Here is what happens:

Due to international fraud, we have instituted very stringent credit card verification parameters. As such, if our systems cannot DIRECTLY verify your billing address, then the order is declined. If you happen to see a charge on your card, it is really not a charge. It is a temporary AUTHORIZATION which will drop off in a few days. An authorization is a hold that we place on your card, for the amount of your order. But since your transaction was declined then that AUTHORIZATION will drop off and disappear after a few days. Depending on your credit card institution, the days it will take to drop off may vary. Call your card company to find out.

Because of this, we highly recommend to all international customers to use PayPal as a payment method. You can use your credit card inside of PayPal as a payment method. The reason why PayPal works is because they are international and can easily verify your credit card address better than we can. We really hope this clarifies things a bit better! Thank you!

Do you ship to my country?
  Currently we ship to all countries except: Nigeria &Ghana. We add and remove countries due to the level of Fraudulent activities we get.
However even though we may ship to all countries, there are certain items we cannot ship outside the USA due to the sensitive nature of the item or due to export laws over here that does not allow us to ship outside the USA. Below are the list of items we currently dont ship outside the USA:

You can also create an account by clicking the "My Account / Order Status" link at the top right hand side of our site. During signup we'll ask for your shipping address details including country. If your country is not in the dropdown menu of available countries, unfortunately we cannot ship to your country at this time.
What are my payment choices?
 


Safetybasement works to ensure that all legitimate international orders are processed accurately and in a timely manner.
Our payment gateway is an automated system set to the most stringent credit card verification standards and optimized to work for United States and Canadian credit cards. As such many of our international customers who try to use a legitimate international credit card are usually declined if our payment gateway cannot directly and instantly verify your inputed billing address.(This is usually noted as a AVS mismatch or decline).
This has caused undue frustration to many of our good international customers.
Since we cannot change this standard, we would like to recommend a tried and tested by-pass. First go to Checkout and select PayPal as your payment option. Then you will be taken to the PayPal website to make payment for the order you just placed! Use your credit card inside of PayPal. The good news is that you do not need to have a paypal accont to use their service. See below:

Here is how it works:
1. Add your item(s) to our shopping cart.
2. Go to check out and select PayPal as your payment option (not credit card).
3. Then click SUBMIT to move on to PayPal website to complete your order.

4. Once on PayPal website you will see the following link. Click on the highlighted link (if you do not have a PayPal account or do not want to create one)


5. Then you will see the following page. Proceed with processing your credit card and you should be all set! Thank you!
When will my order ship and what are my shipping charges?
  Shipping is automatically calculated prior to submitting your payment information.  Simply add items to your cart and proceed to the Checkout page where you will be offered Shipping Method choices and their prices. We will ship your order shortly after we receive payment from you.
