This achieved because the processor operates in "sleep mode" until motion is detected, when the camera flips on and begins recording.

Motion Activated
Motion activation significantly extends the monitoring time of this hidden camera. The motion sensor allows for efficient and effective use of both battery life and memory capacity of the SD card. Motion activation is particularly effective when there is infrequent motion in the desired recording area. Not only is the use of space maximized it increases the efficiency of reviewing the footage.

PC Viewable Video
Easily play video on your PC with most media players including Windows Media Player since files are stored in the commonly supported MPEG4 format. Files are easily shared because the format requires no proprietary software. Share files through email, CD, SD card, flash drive or removable hard drive, and send video or pause and send a screen shot to anyone.
