| IMPORTANT: |
1. Please charge unit first before operation. Some
functions may not work if you don't charge your unit first.
2. On connecting unit to computer, we recommend connecting USB line
to watch first before connecting to computer. And on disconnecting,
disconnect from computer first before unit. |
Turn on: To turn on unit, press and
hold the START/CAMERA key for about 3 seconds and release. Lights will blink
for about a second then they will go off and just a steady blue light will
remain. This means your unit is turned on and ready for operation.
Turn off: Press and hold the START/CAMERA
key for about 3 seconds. However if you forget to turn it off, unit will
automaticall power off after about 3 minutes.
TAKING VIDEO [Recording includes audio recording)
a. Turn on your unit (see instruction above)
b. Quickly press the START/CAMERA button. A blue light will flash momentarily
then will turn off. Unit is now recording video. To make sure that unit
is still taking video, simple press and release any other button [not the
START button]. The blue light will blink a few times and go off. This is
just to let you know that video recording is in progress.
c. To stop recording, press and release the START/CAMERA button again to
save video and stop recording. Repeat step A and B as necessary.
TAKING PHOTO
a. After unit is turned on, quickly press and rlease the PHOTO button. The
red light will blink once. The photo has been taken and saved to your watch
drive. Repeat as necessary.
RESETTING YOUR UNIT
To reset your unit, simply press the PHOTO and the START/CAMERA buttons
together. [Note: press the photo button first then press the START
button next]
SETTING TIME ON YOUR WATCH
First make sure the time on your computer is correct.
To set the time on your watch, first conenct unit to your computer via USB
cable. A window will pop up with folder options. Close that window.
Then insert the included CD. Another window will pop up. Click the OPEN
FOLDER TO VIEW FILES option at the bottom and then double click the UPDATE
CAMERA TIME TOOL. Then double click on the WRITE TIME_EN. That should then
show a little pop up window stating that update successful. Your watch's
time has now been updated to reflect your computer's time. So make sure
your computer's time is correct!
WEBCAM FEATURE
First make sure your watch is turned off. Then plug the end of your USB
cable to the watch ONLY. Then grab the other end of your USB cable that
will go to the computer port. Before plugging it into the computer port,
press and hold the PHOTO button on your watch, And while you have the button
depressed, insert the USB to your computer port. Now release the PHOTO button.
Your watch is now ready to be used as a web cam.
Open up any of your favourite webcam softwares such as your MSN chat programs
or Skype and go to the video option. The watch will be identified as STANDARD
CAMERA. Click that option and you should see video captured by the watch
camera.
CONNECTING TO YOUR COMPUTER
After you have recorded your video, it may be time to view and playback
your recordings.
Connect the USB cable to your watch FIRST then connect the other end
to the computers USB port NEXT.
A little window should pop-up. Click the OPEN FOLDER TO VIEW FILES
at the bottom.
You should now be able to explore your files.
