the same technology as our proven law enforcement models, the TASER® C2™ has incredible
take down power.
The new TASER® C2™ series has almost 100% effectiveness rating. It combines the
injury reducing benefits of traditional stun technology with a quantum leap
in stopping power via new Electro-Muscular Disruption (EMD) technology. In police
studies, the new TASER® C2™ has a higher instant incapacitation rate than a 9mm
hand gun. The TASER® C2™ shoots out 2 darts attached to 15 feet of wire. 50,000
volts travels over the wires and over-rides the central nervous system providing
incredible takedown power.
The TASER® C2™ is a self-defense electronic control device. Electronic Control
Devices (ECDs) use propelled wires to conduct energy to affect the sensory and
motor functions of the nervous system. In addition, the TASER® C2™ can be used
as a direct contact stun device. The TASER® C2™ uses a replaceable TASER cartridge,
containing compressed nitrogen, to deploy two small probes that are attached
to the TASER® C2™ by insulated conductive wires with a maximum length of 15 feet
(4.5 meters). The energy can penetrate up to two cumulative inches of clothing
or one inch per probe.
