This short wavelength lamp is equipped with a Longlife? filter. It assures higher initial UV intensity and is extremely resistant to solarization. The lamp comes complete with one 4-watt tube and filter assembly. The use of a UV-absorbing face shield is recommended with this unit.

CAUTION: Ultraviolet light in the short wavelength can cause severe burns to unprotected skin and eyes. Protective clothing and eyewear should always be worn. This includes lab coat with long sleeves, cotton or rubber/plastic gloves, and a face shield. Goggles offer little protection to the skin of the face. Too much ultraviolet light can cause conjunctivitis and large amounts of ultraviolet light absorbed in the eyes can cause lenticular cataracts.
