This lamp is similar to our 9-0060 Long Wavelength UV Lamp, except that it does not come with a transformer base. Instead, the ballast is built-in to the lamp housing. Included with this lamp is the integral heat guard/stand. The lamp housing is constructed of rugged, high-impact polymer to withstand hard use. For ease in handling at a crime scene, the power cord is 20 feet long. While the replacement 150-watt bulb is slightly more expensive than the 9-0060, it still has a rated life of 5,000 hours.
