MAXPEDITION’s
Proteus Versipack transforms from a hand-carried storage case into a
self-contained buttpack in less than 5 seconds.
Named
after a mythological character that could take on many shapes and forms,
the Proteus Versipack (#0402) provides a herculean 285 cu. in. of organized
storage space and can be worn like a fannypack, hand-carried, piggy-backed
onto MAXPEDITION backpacks, or integrated onto ALICE or MOLLE webbing.
Equipped with compression straps that snap into the integral handle
to secure contents and three rows of nylon webbing attachment points
to accommodate modular accessories, this is one piece of gear you must
have before setting forth on your odyssey.
The
Proteus can also be used as a pocket attaching onto Maxpedition or PALS
webbing with a pair of 5"
TacTie
(sold separately).

Review
"Just picked up my order
from L.E Gear. I am so impressed with the Proteus I can't wait to get
my Sabercat in black order. I found L.E Gear through your website and
I must say that their service is impeccable. I'm
so glad they carry your gear as it is the best in the world! I can't see
why anybody would even consider anybody else as the quality, practicality
and toughness is unsurpassable. It is easy to see that this bag is quality
with all the webbing and heavy-duty zippers. I'm hoping the Sabercat will
hold my Nikon 14x40
Nikon Stabileyes
binoculars as the dimensions look as though they would in which
case almost every D.E.A. and costums agent would be happy to have a Sabercat
as well. I plan to use mine for sight seeing in Africa and other places
around the world. Hope this tip comes in handy for you as the Nikon 12x40
StabilEyes are rather large yet indispensable when viewing wild animals
or criminals from a safe distance with their built in gyroscopes." Chris,
