Hunt in an All Metal mode, a factory-set mode that eliminates most trash metal, or determine your own precise discrimination. There are 24 Accept/Reject discrimination notches to find just the target you are seeking. While this unit is more advanced than the Investigator Ace unit, it does not weigh any more and is just as simple to use. The Investigator G-500 has an 8 1/2" Crossfire searchcoil. The unit takes eight AA batteries (included). Stereo headphones are available to hear the beeps from the device while working near noisy environments. A soft-sided carrying case is also available.
