Weighing just over three pounds, its simplicity of operation requires minimal training and insures that the instrument will always be ready for use. Automatic ground balance and computer-designed circuitry insure that the Investigator Ace will seek out its targets deep in any type of soil. Precise sensitivity control is available, if enhanced performance is ever required.

The Investigator Ace has an 8 1/2" Crossfire searchcoil. The unit takes three 9-volt batteries (included). Optional stereo headphones are available for being able to hear the beeps from the metal detector while working near a freeway, airport or in other noisy environments. A soft-sided carrying case for keeping all of the parts together and to protect the equipment from dust and dirt is also available.
