Unless a reusable nozzle is thoroughly washed and cleanroom-sealed before the next use, contaminants from the previous crime scene may still be present. They could be collected in the filter used on the present crime scene and false evidence would be obtained. This situation would be difficult to defend in a courtroom examination.
